A weekend at Little Moreton Hall, one of the wonkiest Tudor properties the National Trust looks after. Five centuries of settlement have left the timbered façade visibly out of plumb, and the place is all the better for it. They have left the warps in.
The great gallery upstairs has a stunning timber-vaulted ceiling and a piece of contemporary trust art worth the climb on its own.
A very wonky Tudor hall.

More frames from the visit live on my 500px feed. If wonky Tudor properties are your thing, Rufford Old Hall the month before is the straight-laced sibling. Same era, much less lean.
